    Marianne Bachmeier

    Marianne Bachmeier

It was the 5th Monday of the month, which is a week I usually take off. Except when I don't. I decided to cover a really interesting case that's shorter than usual so I guess I took a half-week off.

In 1981, a 35 year old man was arrested for killing Anna Bachmeier, a bubbly 7 year old who went missing on the way to a friend’s house. Though he confessed, he went to trial and what happened at his trial made international news and led to 40 years of debate.

Dropping T’s

The podcast content is always great but the inability to pronounce the second T in almost any word is so distracting.

When you see the word “Important” how does it become “Imporent” - just as an example from an unfathomable list.

Podcasting in English should probably respect the rules of speaking English.
