Welcome to the Digital Homebody Podcast, a weekly show helping you combine the magic of the internet with the cosy environment of home so you can work remotely and design a life you love. You may have heard of Digital Nomads, people who work remotely and travel the world, often working from coffee shops and coworking spaces in exotic locations and earning a living online. Well, even before the pandemic put a stick in the wheel of international travel, there were those of us who loved the idea of being location independent professionals, but wanted to stay in our own homes and communities. This podcast is for you if you have ever felt like the traditional workplace doesn’t work for you, but you don’t want to or are unable to travel all the time. Perhaps it’s because your partner is tied to a job in your town, or you have young children or other caring responsibilities, or because your personality, life circumstances, chronic illness or disability requires more flexibility than most workplaces can offer, and home is quite simply healthier for you. This show will be partly a sharing of stories from digital homebodies to inspire and empower you, partly giving tips and tricks to apply in your own life and work, and partly a documentation of my personal quest as an introverted, highly sensitive, multi passionate online entrepreneur living with chronic illness, working from home, and designing a life I love.I’m your host, Ellen Ronalds Keene. I’m a Teacher, Coach, Entrepreneur and Digital Homebody. Hit subscribe in your podcast app now, so you don’t miss an episode.
