After a crushing victory at Pyongyang, the Japanese army pushes into the Qing homeland of Manchuria. The greatest obstacle to the Japanese advancement is the Yalu river and the Chinese fortress of Jiuliancheng. Having already showed superior tactics and planning, can the Japanese forces led by General Yamagata Aritomo overcome the Chinese defenses or will the Qing forces finally repel their enemy.
