    Thanksgiving Day is right around the corner and will be here sooner than you may realize. With the coming of the holiday, this means that it is time to start planning your Thanksgiving Day meal. 580 soldiers here at Fort Hood don't have to worry though as they are being gifted meals from the Chaplain Corps, the Central Texas Food Bank, and Onion Creek Neighborhood. The podcast crew discusses all this and Veterans Day on this Veterans Day episode.

    How (Holiday) Bazaar, How Bizarre

    The Fort Hood Spouses' Club has a defining purpose of bringing together people here at Fort Hood to not only build a network of like-minded individuals, but to also advance the quality of life of military families and the surrounding community. The second half of their mission is what drives their fundraising. Which is why they are on the podcast this week - the Fort Hood Spouses' Club is hosting a Holiday Bazaar on November 13-14 and they want to invite everyone to come and participate.

    Spooky Season at Fort Hood (plus Mil Expo and goodbyes)

    Halloween is finally here, as the crew of the Fort Hood's Great Big Podcast has only been talking about it for quite some time.  With Halloween comes spooky stories of the area, spooky stories of growing up in a haunted house, and the importance of safety from the Garrison Safety office.  The crew also finally recognizing that the holiday will be over shortly, so they look to future events like the Mil Expo - Small Business Expo taking place on November 2 at the Backbone NCO Lounge on Fort Hood. And lastly, we are forced to say goodbye and good luck to Brianna.
