The Mind Body Matters Project enables racialized young women, ages 13-18 in Mississauga, access to a safer environment where they can explore how to take care of their physical, mental, relational and emotional well-being!

This Picking Up the Pieces episode is hosted by Mahnoor and Ashvi ft. Amma Gymfowa where they take a guided approach to what was shared in their previous episode. The episode takes a look at setting boundaries to respect our mental health and considers some of the personal ways we can take of ourselves. Give it a listen!

Hosted by your grassroots organization, Girls Empowerment Movement, this episode of our Spotlight Series honours Sikh Heritage Month by highlighting the legacy, contributions and values of the Sikh community in Canada by featuring a local Peel-based organization, Seva Food Bank. Our guest is Jyoti Kaur Bedi, a member of the Board of Directors of Seva Food Bank. Co-hosted by Nivriti, Programs and Initiatives Coordinator, Sherin, Programs and Initiatives Coordinator, and Ashnoor, Community Collaborations and Advocacy Coordinator.
