#150: Their story is not your story
Balance your day by starting with what matters most. Be intentional about filling your time and energy with what is most important in your life. Put these things at the top of your list each day before the world distracts you from them.
Takeaway: Fill your bucket with the good stuff first.
Challenge: Make a list of what matters most to you this week, and be sure that that is where your time goes first. -
#149: It’s not About Balance

#148: How to Grow In the Valley
There are many celebrations this time of year for awards, accomplishments and more. There are also many kids who have had hard seasons, hard years, and have not had the year or season they expected. They are in the valley. So much growth can happen in the valley if we allow it. Is someone you know in the valley right now? Let us notice them, celebrate them, and encourage them. It takes a lot to show up every day when life is hard. Tell them you see that.
Takeaway: Pay attention to who is in a hard season this week.
Challenge: Whoever is in the valley, take notice of them, and let them know that you see them showing up each day, and you celebrate their strength and resilience to get through their hard season. Remind them to stay close to God, and that it will pass. -
#147: Soul Care
What are you doing to take care of your soul? There are many ways to nurture your soul and get closer to God. We are all different in what ignites and stirs our soul. There are many choices each day that bring me closer to God and I truly feel a stirring in my soul. It is apparent in how I react, when I skip these choices when life gets hectic. Listen in and think about what you are doing each day to stir your affection for God and how you are caring for your soul. The health of our soul is so important, and sometimes neglected if we don’t know how to care for it.
