Hit the road Skill up with Kervin

Almost all of us are thinking of literally leaving a place or beginning a trip - which is the exact meaning of this phrase.

However, this story that I am going to tell you is not my travel blog but the journey life that I embarked on when I veered off my course.

Yes, I veered off course.

I think you already know a little bit about my educational background. Let me jog your memory or let me enlighten you. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Information Technology that I put into practice working as an Information technology officer in our provincial Capitol. During those years, I felt like I was left behind where my best friends were already accountants, engineers, and uniformed personnel.

That made me decide to veer off course.

I applied for a position as a teacher and was luckily trained for a couple of months. When I was officially hired, I spiced up my teaching skills by taking a professional education course to get my license as a professional teacher.

With the current situation, I can confidently say that I will not veer off anymore and will stay on track in this path that I embarked on.

I'd love to tell you more about my story but it would be great for me to your story too.

What about you?

Have you ever embarked on something where you veered off from one thing to another?
If not, then which do you think is better to be successful in life: stay on track or veer off your course?

Instruction:

Record yourself describing how you hit the road or embarked on something where you veered off from one thing to another

Use the words or expressions of the day that are:

Veer off - to turn aside suddenly and leave some course, direction, or purpose; change
Stay on track -to continue to work or make progress as planned, expected, or desired.
embark on - to begin (a journey)

That's a wrap. See you around!
