Tragedy in the Worlds Deepest Cave | Veryovkina Cave
Veryovkina cave is worlds deepest cave at over 7,000 feet deep. It's only natural that in the exploration of a cave that deep, accidents happened.
What isn't natural, is the nature of accidents in the worlds deepest cave, because not all of them were from people who were supposed to be inside to begin with.
Veryovkina cave may be even deeper than what is known today and is still being discovered.

The All Women Climbing Team That Froze on a Mountain | Peak Lenin
In 1974, on the mountain Peak Lenin, an all women climbing team froze on a mountain.
The eight women were lead by Elvira Statayeva, and she was one of the most climbers in the Soiet Union at the time.
Unfortunately, ambition and bad luck, would leave them frozen on the mountain, instead of successfully coming back down.

Men Trapped By Rising Water | Cascade Cave
in 2015, six men entered Cascade cave and two would be left behind and trapped by rising water.
The men were facing rising water and trapped at the bottom of the cave. They could only hope rescue would come before the rising water got to them first.

Don't Go Deeper: Plura Cave Diving Accident Explained
In 2014, a team of 5 Finnish divers attempted to dive the entire length of Plura Cave.
Their diving expedition was meant to be a successful first captured on film. They started at the Plura entrance instead of the usual Stein cave entrance. Disaster struck when thinks started going wrong and those who survived barely made it out alive.
