Sean Couturier hires a new agent, and Steven Stamkos is a free agent!
It’s a Tuesday-Newsday for Bill, Charlie, and Kelly on today’s episode, with several different headlines dominating the NHL and the Philadelphia.
After Sean Couturier‘s agent spoke out against John Tortorella’s treatment of his client, and some pretty poignant words by Torts in response, Captain Coots has now hired a new agent. What does it mean for his tenure in Philadelphia and relationship with his head coach?
Plus, the speculation begins! The Tampa Bay Lightning were eliminated by the Panthers on Monday, perhaps ending Steven Stamkos’ time with the franchise that drafted him.
We’ve also got a Stanley Cup Playoff update, and a little Matvei Michkov discussion!

Great content
Bill, Steph, Kelly, Charlie, and the gang really help me feel like I'm along for the ride halfway around the world. Born in Japan, bred in Philly, and now back in Japan, my heart still bleeds orange and black. Whipping out the Koho and going to the neighborhood pond to skate with guys a good foot taller than me is one of the greatest memories from my childhood. Thanks for bringing the Philly vibe online so us foreigners can get in on the action together. Go Flyers!
