It's time for a new adventure! We're beginning a new journey exploring the Rencia region. Today we decide on which real world area to base our new region, the names of the games, and the major themes. And of course, and all new fakemon to be the mascot of season 2.

As we begin season 2, just like gen II of Pokémon, we're playing in a fun space that we've never explored before - adding a new type! Then we've got a brand new fakemon to represent that type!

A new region and generation naturally means one thing - we need new starter Pokémon! Today we're making those starters, thinking about the themes we want to convey, and also which themes we're leaving behind. Who will be your first partner in this new fakemon region?

The stories in Pokémon games have gotten more complex over time, so today we're adding a new segment where we plan out the structure of the story in Pokémon Marble and Bronze. We also have our first new character, and a new "Route 1" fakemon.

Today we're exploring the hometown of Pokémon Marble & Bronze's player character and the surrounding area. Which part of Italy will inspire this crucial location in Rencia? What will this town be like? Will it stay that way? And most importantly, what new fakemon can be found nearby?

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet did something we didn't think possible... it made us care about legendary Pokémon! Now we're taking what we've learned from those games, and applying it to the mascot fakemon for Marble & Bronze.
