    Age is the main risk factor for cognitive decline. So with more people around the world living longer, cases of dementia are set to rise. There's currently no cure - but research suggests that happiness can reduce the impact of this awful illness. 

    Psychologist Emily Willroth helped write a chapter on this topic for the 2024 World Happiness Report - and explains how making friends, helping others and engaging in fun physical activities can slow cognitive decline, even when the disease has taken hold.

How science can lead us to happiness

After taking the online class “The Science of Well-Being” by Dr.Laurie Santos, I wanted to know more about happiness and the science behind it. I feel saved that the teachings behind Dr.Laurie Santos’ course continued on this podcast. With the help of top experts in their field each episode brings me much needed clarity about my daily life decisions, happiness and mindfulness. And the best thing about this podcast is that each episode comes with problems and solutions which makes me unbelievable happy!! Highly reccommended!!

Happy coincidence

I came a cross this podcast by accident and was thinking there’s no way I can add another podcast to the list of ones I’m already following but I was wrong. This has became my number one podcast that I crave the next episode as soon as I’m finished with the latest. Strongly recommend!
