What happens when a double homicide case lands in your lap? What if it is the oldest active cold case in the history of American true crime? What if your father held a family secret for fifty years before he confided in you that one of the victims was your great-great uncle and that your grandfather had been held as a suspect? What if the murders happened during the most corrupt era our nation has ever known? And what if you are a retired detective, like me, with the unique skill set needed to figure out an 87-year-old family mystery? Well, you put everything else on hold and set out to solve it. This is my story.

Thinking side to side

I’m a True Crime fan and I enjoy a good mystery. TS is a great podcast because of the variety. Three hosts, lots of theories and topics from the supernatural to unexplained deaths. Really fascinating and diverse. Not too heavy so a good one to mix into all the hard and dark murder stories.

Love this podcast!

I just love the way this podcast is set up. Not only do Devon, Joe and Steve have a great chemistry, but they all have a slightly different perspective on the mysterious cases which they are discussing. While some of the mysteries discussed on this podcast were already familiar to me, many of them I had never heard of before! Unlike many other podcasts, who I find tend to be either too eager to accept supernatural or otherworldly answers to many of these mysteries, this podcast takes the time to discuss a more skeptical viewpoint too. But best of all… the hosts leave it up to the listener to draw their own conclusions in the end!

Hope that this podcast will continue on for a long time to come.
