It's an informal conversation where we get real about something that is often hard to talk about. Our goal for the podcast is to be educational, uplifting, informative and authentic. We want it to be a conversation with our listeners - with opportunities for questions and answers and also a place to hear stories from our homeless friends themselves. Welcome to the conversation!

This episode is an introduction to our podcast "This is Me" - which is an informal conversation about the struggles of homelessness and about breaking its stigma and myth. Our goal for the podcast is to be educational, uplifting, informative and authentic. We want it to be a conversation with our listeners - interactive with opportunities for questions and answers and also a place to hear stories from our friends that struggle with homelessness themselves.
"No Apologies" is an introduction episode. It takes its title from the song This is Me, from The Greatest Showman Soundtrack. We took inspiration from these lyrics for this episode:
"I am not a stranger to the dark. Hideaway, they say, "cause we don't want your broken parts" "I've learned to be ashamed of all my scars, run away they say, no one will love you as you are" but "Look out 'cause here I come, and I'm marching on to the beat I drum, I'm not scared to be seen, I make no apologies...this is me".
