The podcast aims to provide different perspectives on learning English and at the same time develop our listeners' language skills.

This episode we are proud to interview Christian from Canguro English. He is my favourite English teaching YouTuber!  Christian was born in Australia but now lives in Spain, and is trying to change the way the world learns English. You can find him everywhere online. A good place to start is his YouTube Channel: Canguro English.

In the interview,  we talk about teaching English in an abandoned building, ‘The Best English Course in the World’ and a whole lot of BS.

The podcast is divided into five parts:

    2) Study Tip of the Iceberg In this segment, our guests give their number one language learning tip.

    3) Language Unmasked We look at our guests' own experiences of learning a second language. Taking in their embarrassing moments and favourite expressions in their second language.

    4) It's Raining Idioms and Swear Words We discuss in detail one English idiomatic expression or swear word - from history to how to use it in real-life situations.

    5) In the Red Room Your chance to guess our bonus English expression and win a prize!

This podcast is available on all your favourite platforms. You can also listen to the tenth episode at Anchor and leave an audio comment or question. Alternatively, leave a comment here and try to guess the mystery expression from the latest episode.

    1) Pedagogy: Is this tool based on good teaching methods and research or are they making claims they can’t support?

    2) User Experience: How easy or hard is it to use this online tool? Is there a good help page? Are the controls complicated? And so on.

    3) Language Learning Potential: How much can a student of English get out of this tool? Will this tool make you a more efficient learner of English?
