In her coaching practice, Pamela focuses on helping women navigate the emotional turbulence of unplanned life changes, such as divorce, relocation, family estrangement, and an empty nest. Pamela’s journey is a testament to her resilience and determination. Years ago, she found herself plunged into deep poverty through no fault of her own. Her literary debut, “A Day at the Fare: One Woman’s Welfare Passage,” has received acclaim from poet, author, educator, and activist Nikki Giovanni, who noted that it is a “wonderful idea carried out very, very well.”
Pamela is an alumna of The Moth, an award-winning organization dedicated to the art of storytelling, and was selected to perform at its 2019 Community Showcase in Brooklyn. Beyond her speaking and coaching pursuits, she also conducts storytelling workshops, sharing the art and impact of personal narratives.
Education has been a cornerstone of Pamela’s journey. She holds master’s degrees in Management and Human Resource Management, a bachelor’s degree in Communications, and an associate degree in Television Production. Haleh Shoa is the founder and CEO of Picturli, a photo organization, curation, archiving and design studio that helps families, individuals and businesses transform their photo mess into one sortable digital library. Haleh and her team meticulously organize their client’s entire photo collections into a sortable and searchable Photo Archive that is secure, easily shareable. Haleh firmly believes that our family histories and personal memories are some of the most valuable treasures we can have and that preserving and sharing them is essential for future generations.
Haleh’s passion for photo organizing stems from her family’s history of being uprooted by the Iranian Revolution in 1979. While they were unable to bring most of their belongings to the U.S. when they moved here, they did manage to bring all of their photo albums and memorabilia. Now, the only memories that remain from Haleh’s childhood are through her family photos and the stories shared with her through the collection she has preserved.
As a certified professional photo organizer in Los Angeles, Haleh is backed by 27 years of technical expertise as an executive creative producer in advertising for luxury brands such as Ritz Carlton, Apple, and Jaguar/Land Rover. Her past experience includes leading the global advertising launch campaign of the iPad Mini with a team of 56 people, and managing the assets of 5 different continents.
