Season 2 of “Just Stories with BT” features all Female Executive guests in the mattress/furniture space or other underrepresented industries!
These episodes focus on getting to know the amazing woman behind these roles and giving a platform to talk about getting our male dominated industries more balanced out!
Episode #1 has an unbelievable guest in Laurie Tokarz, who not only is the President of Restonic, but also such a motivational human.  We talk in depth about the struggles she faced as she came up in the furniture industry and how she overcame and shined!

In my last interview highlighting Authors, I end with a phenomenal guest, April Sabral, the CEO of RetailU and author of "The Positive Effect".  

April started her career as a part-time sales associate, having moved out of her home at 16. She worked her way through the ranks with over 30 years in the retail industry. Working for brands such as; Starbucks, Gap, Apple, Holt Renfrew, Paul Smith, culminating as a Vice President of a national retail chain in North America of 250 stores. She took that knowledge and created one of the most cutting edge training platforms for retail teams in the Retail U platform.

This week's episode features the incredible author and storyteller Brett Russo, who's book "The Underwear in My Shoe: My Journey Through IVF, Unfiltered" uncovers the not often talked about world of IVF in a funny, and raw way that you NEED to read.  

Brett not only shares my name, but also my passion for telling transparent and unfiltered stories so that people can actually feel heard and know what really goes on in difficult situations.  Her struggle and ultimate triumph with IVF is motivating and real, and her episode is both funny and heartwarming.

This week's episode features my good friend Hernani Alves. Hernani is an Amazon Best Selling Author With Over 20 Years Experience As A Sales Executive For A $3+ Billion Company and the CEO of Balanced IQ. He Has motivated executives, sales professional, and teams throughout the United States, and had a HUGE impact on my life! 
I may be biased since I am actually in the forward of his new book, but his second title called Champions Advantage is such a great read, only surpassed by the author himself.  Hernani's personal story is next level and so worth your time if you want to be motivated to be a better version of you!

Kerry Alison Wekelo is Award-Winning Author, Chief Operating Officer at Actualize Consulting, Founder of Zendoway, and Creator of Zendoway Cubes.  She released her best selling book "Culture Infusion" which highlights 9 Principles to Create and Maintain a Thriving Organizational Culture.   

What I love about Kerry's personal story is how she started writing with a kids book prior to her corporate books and combines business and wellness in such an inspiring way.  This episode will motivate you to make moves at your organization, guaranteed!

Sales, debates, role plays, teaching, writing...Dr. Boyer definitely brings the heat in the episode!  She is an incredible professor with an even more amazing back story.  We get into her book, her AI bot created college sales training debates, and the ways in which you can push through to finally write that book you've always wanted to.

This show has so many take aways, I almost needed to break halfway through to take notes.  Enjoy getting to know the person behind the words this week with Dr. Stefanie Boyer.
