No Starbucks
No Pret A Manger.
No Costa.
No Cafe Nero.
No GAIL’s.
No McDonalds coffee

No coffee.

Imagine a world with coffee?

As an ardent coffee fiend, I couldn’t live without it.

Rewind to 1986.

Our scone-scoffing, beer-boshing, tea-guzzling Britain was crowned the “Graveyard of Coffee”.

A slumpy-grumpy stupor.

If you wanted a cuppa joe, you’d have to go to swanky-hotel.

Then. Thank heavens.

Two mad scientists. Steven Macatonia and Jeremy Torz. Had just returned slurping up the coffee movement in San Fransisco.

They started UNION and the coffee movement from their Mum's garden shed.

No Union Hand-Roasted Coffee. No Starbucks. No Starbucks. No Coffee movement. 

The coffee you drank this morning. You owe a great deal to Jeremy and Stephen
