BIO: Dr. Donna J. Nicol is the Associate Dean for
Personnel and Curriculum in the College of Liberal Arts at California State
University Long Beach (CSULB).

She is the immediate outgoing Professor and Chair of
Africana Studies at California State University Dominguez Hills.  Dr. Nicol joined the faculty at CSUDH in Fall
2017 after a decade in the Women and Gender Studies Department at California
State University Fullerton where she became the first woman of color to be
granted tenure and promotion to Associate Professor in 2014. She is the
recipient of the 2021 Faculty Excellence in Service Award at CSU Dominguez
Hills. Dr. Nicol earned early promotion to full professor in 2021, making her
the department’s first woman to achieve this academic rank.

Before joining the professoriate, Dr. Nicol spent seven
years in higher education administration as a Program Coordinator, Program
Manager and Director along with three years as a secondary social studies and
language arts teacher for Los Angeles Unified School District.

Dr. Nicol is a proud alumna of California State
University Fullerton (BA, History and African American Studies, 1995) and
California State University Long Beach (MA, History, 1999). She earned a
master’s degree in educational policy and leadership in 2002 and a Ph.D. in
educational studies (with a specialization in African American educational
history) in 2007 from The Ohio State University.   Dr. Nicol’s research and teaching centers on
history and politics of African American educational access with a focus on
philanthropic foundations, university trustee boards, and African American
women as faculty, university administrators and educational activists. She was
a featured expert on the Al Jazeera documentary, The Big Picture: A Race for
America, which aired in February 2021 and has subsequently published opinion
and historical analysis articles for Al Jazeera English.

 

Dr. Nicol is a member of the Association for the Study of
African American Life and History, a life member of the Association of Black
Women Historians, member of the California Faculty Association, and serves on
the board of directors for the Historical Society of Southern California.

In her spare time, Dr. Nicol enjoys taking hip hop dance
classes, cooking, debating politics and traveling with her husband.

BIO: I studied Electrical Engineering (Electronic and
Communications Engineering) at the Universidad Veracruz Ana in Boca del Rio,
#Mexico with a specialty in Control Systems, Automatic Control, and
Instrumentation. During my engineering degree, I had the privilege to perform
some research in Mexico at the Micro and Nano Technology Research Center
(MICRONA) in the Bio Nanotechnology Laboratory from 2013 to 2014. Furthermore,
in the Summer of 2015, I had the opportunity to be part of a Summer Research
Program for Undergraduate Students at the University of Southern California
(Los Angeles, California) in the Biomedical Engineering Department, performing
research in the Biomedical Microsystems Laboratory. After completing my
Bachelor in Science, I worked at the only Nuclear Power Plant in Mexico as a
Nuclear Technician at the Department of Instrumentation and Control for a few
months previously to obtaining a Fulbright Scholarship and applying to Graduate
School in the United States. Currently, I graduated with a Ph.D. in Biomedical
Engineering at Rutgers University performing research in micro
technologies.

BIO:

As a child, I devoured stories of faraway lands. Through
them, I discovered that the pathway to understanding people from different
cultures was to look for things they had in common rather than what set them
apart from me. Finding a connection to people became my passion. In my early
teens, I left my safe little bubble in Helsinki and ventured out to the great
big world, eventually landing in Paris.

At the age of twenty-one, I returned to Finland and enrolled
in the Helsinki Business School. Two years later, I founded a contemporary art
sale and services company. Despite the initial success, I had to close down the
business after five years when the whole Western world fell into a deep
recession.

I decided to go back to school to study philosophy. One
morning as I was working on an essay on rhetoric, it dawned on me that I was
actually writing my first book. It was a philosophical study into my own
coming-of-age. End of Restlessness was published by a Finnish publisher (WSOY)
and after publishing another book, this time a young adult novel, I switched to
English.

The Rise Up Trilogy was inspired by my fifteen-year stint as
a volunteer in Helsinki Red Cross Youth Shelter. In a world that is turning
into an increasingly hostile place for any minority, we need stories that evoke
diversity, friendship, human decency, and the courage to listen to your heart.

Besides my husband, I love novels in Russian about the
Soviet life, French pop, snowboarding, sampling vegan delights across the
world, and spending time with our brazen, eclectic group of friends and family.

is a multidisciplinary artist, strategist (private, corporate and political)
Creativity-Awareness Educator, speaker and author.

Michaell works on raising the awareness of our limitless
human-potential. Dyslexia/dysgraphia forced Michaell to develop an awareness to
see the world contextually. Having a more human-centric perspective and
art-creation saved his life feeling like a human being instead of an outcast.

Today, Michaell’s unique comprehension allows him to
contribute to almost every topic. Michaell is an advocate for human-education
and understanding neurodiversity.

Michaell is totally self-taught and wrote 6 books about art
and humanity, man-made systems and human inclusivity. Creating-art taught him
understanding the nuances of human-centric vs system-relevant living.

In his book The Smart of Art, Michaell refines the
misunderstanding of why 98-99% of artists worldwide exist around the
poverty-level.

In over 250 guest appearances since March 2022.  Michaell talks about his journey of not being
able to system-navigate at all to how anyone can see every issue in our lives
from a human-centric and system-relevant perspective. Thereby, entangling
misunderstandings and making life 60% more fulfilled when focused on
human-centricity.

BIO:

Matthew Hazen is the owner of Human Consciousness Support, a
company that produces a unique nutraceutical product called MasterPeace. His
quest to raise the health and consciousness of himself and all of mankind
ultimately led him to heavily research zeolites and marine plasma. Matthew was
mentored personally under Michael Coe, Chief scientific officer of Kansas State
University, one of the top nano research labs in America. Together they

on to develop this formula further with his own assistant to make it the most
