Harbor Bay Trail System Mesa Loop
After doing the Harbor Bay Loop we decided to go to the Mesa Loop and back. It was a beautiful day. The views are stunning! Doe and I really enjoyed the hike. The Mesa Loop is a very scenic, very easy loop. The loop itself is 1.1 miles. It was 5.94 miles round trip. The trail to the loop is very narrow but offers stunning views of the lake. You cross two natural streams, and several dry creek beds. The trail offers some ups and downs, a few switchbacks, and not a lot of shade. Plan to be in the sun and take lots of water. Also please remember to always keep you dog in sight if you allow them to go off leash. Not all dogs or people are friendly. We give this trail 🐾🐾 up and definitely recommend it.

Harbor Bay Trail System, Harbor Bay Loop
Today we hiked the Harbor Bay Loop Trail of the the Harbor Bay Trail system. The loop itself is about 1 mile long, and the trail to get there is about 0.67 miles. The trail is rocky and fairly narrow, with the loop starting off on an uphill switch back slope. The views from the top are spectacular and well worth the climb. Doe and I give it 4 paws up 🐾🐾.

ELIOT MOUNTAIN
Hiked up Eliot Mountain today. It was a stunning hike in the trees with fantastic views of the harbor below. Definitely dog friendly, with the dog on a leash, not very long or steep, and mostly in the shade. 3 paws up, only because of the terrain. Highly recommend.
