Things you can do when your children leave the faith:
Show love: Show your child the love of Jesus.
Empathize: Try to understand your child's struggles and doubts.
Be open: Invite your child to discuss their faith, fears, and struggles with you.
Be an ally: Don't be an adversary.
Pray: Pray that you will be able to patiently listen to your child.
Don't blame yourself: Don't focus on your fears.
Live out God's word: Don't be preachy or nag.
Embrace apologetics: Embrace apologetics and be open about your own faith.
Ask forgiveness: If you need to, ask for forgiveness.
