In episode 11, I speak to Adeayo Sotayo, BEng, PhD, AFHEA, MIET. Adeayo is an engineer and research fellow at Brunel University London in additive manufacturing. In this episode, we discuss how 3D printing works and the applications of 3D printing technology in medicine, aerospace and the automotive industry and future uses of the 3D printing.

The first episode of season 2 is with Jake Mills, PhD who is a virologist that has worked on the front lines in the test centres in the U.K., we discuss some of the ‘fake news’ regarding Covid-19 and how effective the vaccine will be.

I n episode 9 of HP Talks, I speak to a Suicide Prevention Adviser from PAPYRUS. PAPYRUS is an organisation that provides confidential support and advice to young people struggling with thoughts of suicide and to anyone worried about a young person. PAPYRUS helps deliver suicide prevention projects and training while also creating national strategies to push for legislative change on suicide.

In episode 8 of HP Talks, I speak to Craig Pinkney. A criminologist, Urban Youth Specialist and the founder a director of Solve. A research and training institution that helps organisations understand the causes of violence. 

Craig speaks to me about what inspired him to become a youth worker and create Solve. We also discuss the changing nature of understanding youth violence along with mental health and societal pressures that influence youth violence. Finally, we briefly talk about white privilege and systematic racism.
