    GoalDlocks Intro-- Alex, Autism//Sterge Weber

Let us formally introduce you to GoalDlocks, a company dedicated to the advocacy, resources, stories, and inspiration of families with children with disabilities, particularly in underrepresented groups. Dom and Alex are a married couple 7 years in with three kids, 2 of which were born with a condition that places them amongst children with special needs. Their oldest, Zachary has Autism Spectrum Disorder, Their middle child, Dominick Jr. aka DJ, has a rare condition called Sturge Weber Syndrome. Dom and Alex had to navigate some tough waters the last couple years trying to get the best resources, doctors, therapists, and schooling for their children, and have felt behind the 8 ball more than once. It doesn't help that theyre a black family, that has to raise their children in a world that is already skeptical of people that look like them. Their plan is to share their story, and the story of families like them to bring about community and advocacy amongst one another.
