Yoga, the Art & Skill of Paying Attention with Jesse Schein
In this episode, we are honored to host Jesse Schein, a revered yoga teacher with 25 years of experience in both practicing and teaching yoga.
Jesse's journey includes completing her teacher training under renowned instructors Maty Ezraty, Lisa Walford, and Chuck Miller at YogaWorks.
She has led numerous 200-hour and 300-hour teacher trainings, workshops, and international retreats, and has even starred in the reality TV show "Yoga Girls."
Described by L.A. Yoga as "hilarious, honest, straightforward, witty, intelligent, and deeply passionate about yoga," Jesse is known for embracing the complete practice of yoga—not just the asana. Her teaching philosophy centers on making yoga accessible to everyone, adapting the practice to individual needs, and creating an environment of curiosity, presence, exploration, effort, and joy. Inspired by Maty Ezraty's wisdom,
Jesse believes, “The Yoga poses never change, you do. Thus, your relationship with the poses and the practice changes.”
Her motto, "Do You, Be You," encourages authenticity and individual expression in practice, allowing each student to find their unique path in yoga.
Join us for an incredible conversation exploring life and all things yoga, both on and off the mat.
Enjoy the episode and discover the wisdom and warmth of an incredible teacher and friend.
