605 Post-Mortem of READY SET REPORT

There is no way to quit the game until all information has been collected. This is due to time constraints.

In later iterations of this game, the player would not have the ability to go back and talk to NPCs again. Once they have documented an NPC’s quote, they will have finished talking to them. Going off of this, there is presently no function allowing the player to edit their journal. This would be helpful if the player wanted to change the category of information received, as some quotes might bleed between types of information.

The font choice is questionable and would likely have more variation in future iterations. For example, I’d like for character names to be in serif with dialogue in sans-serif, and the journal might be in a script font.

The 3D world isn’t that interesting or relevant to the story. I would like for there to be an ending montage where the story is covered, the llama is found, and the player might even receive a score for how well they covered the story depending on the ratings and placements of quotes.

The journal isn’t placed perfectly; I would’ve liked for it to be centered but I am keeping it where it is out of pure exhaustion from working on the computer.

Instructions to include one of each type of quote should have gone on the title page. I didn’t realize that until playthrough in my presentation.

There is no description of the numbers in the dropdown menu I would like for that to say ‘rating’  and for the description of the category to say ‘category’.
