Since 2010, the We Hate Movies podcast has been loudly celebrating and tearing apart movies from across the spectrum: from forgotten '80s actioners and insane romantic comedies of the '90s, to the early CGI blockbusters of the aughts and the hyper-nostalgic franchises of the 2010s and today. Every week, comedians Andrew Jupin, Stephen Sajdak, Eric Szyszka, and Chris Cabin pick a movie from the near-past to discuss and joke around about in all its positive and negative glory.

Funniest podcast out there
Best and funniest bad-movie podcasts available. The guys are not only hilarious but, unlike other similar shows, they have a deep understanding of cinema and cinema history. Amazing show.
You thought you hated this movie? Think again!
From Clint Eastwood’s dramatic range to Christopher Lambert’s creepy laugh, no other podcast out there can convey how hilariously awful Hollywood can get. Hanging out with Andrew, Stephen and Eric not only cracks me up, but it redeems having spent money on seeing these crappy movies in the first place.
But even when you haven’t seen the movie in question, you’re bound to have a great time. Who knew Clint Eastwood had had a hit comedy, or film treasure Michel Caine had taken such awful gigs in the early 90s? It’s all here and it will crack you up.
Although it takes a good 20 minutes to get used to the gang’s no-holds-barred style of humor, their profane rants are nothing short of delightful. It’s best to start with a movie you hated and their back catalog is definitely impressive. For me, the undeniable gateway was Roland Emmerich’s Godzilla. After the second Matthew Broderick impression I was hooked.
The only downside is: now when I listen to it, I kinda wanna go back and see the movie again. Don’t! There’s a reason it was selected in the first place. If you’re the type who absolutely needs to know exactly what your commentators are talking about, try this: go to their Facebook page and find out why they’re reviewing next and watch it in preparation for the show before it comes out. It’s much better than pretending to read for my book club.
Lot of laughs
A great show, funny, incisive and truly for everyone
