Entrepreneur and designer, Willy, 28, sits down with us to talk about his app in development, called Wings. Like a wing-man or wing-woman, the app crowdsources advice on what to say and do while navigating the choppy skies of online dating. Want to send or respond to a text? How long to wait? What to say? What does he or she mean? Who the hell knows...but Wings is here to help. This was totally my idea a few years back that I never did anything about, so I'm really glad that someone is. Beth and I met a couple years ago and have a ton in common. We're the same age, we're improvisers, writers, beautiful, fun, and share the same values. AND...we're both looking for our person - not "the one", but the right one for us.
We banter about the best and worst dating apps - I introduced her to Tinder (you're welcome?) and I learned there's an app just for men with beards. We ponder if NYC is truly to blame for our singleness. While I can't know for sure, I do know this: if I weren't straight I'd make Beth my girlfriend - STAT.

I met Jay the typical New York way: a friend's cousin's wife's friend or some person whose relationship to me is so-complicated-I-don't-even-remember introduced us because we both have blogs about love. Now we're direct friends and I'm glad because he's smart, creative, single (and tall!), sweet, and like CJ and I, looking for love - REAL LOVE. We popped over to his place in March and let the conversation flow from "bad math" dating, apps even I never heard of, to maybe it's time to leave NYC forever.

Hard to believe this podcast is one year old (they grow up so fast!). For this special anniversary, CJ and I invited our friend Craig who is gay, handsome, and single to chat about gay dating culture, weird ways to meet men (what happens in gym saunas should stay in gym saunas), how to date in your 20s v. 30s, and new year's resolutions. We learned that we all want the same thing in 2015: to give and receive love, more mindfulness, and to spend more time nourishing our souls.

With Autumn comes beards, flannels, and apparently...Lumbersexuals. On this episode CJ and I chat with Ben the Farmer, who is a real farmer and a real Lumbersexual (not the hipster kind). Remember Ben? He was one of the #BeMy100 date finalists with his faceless, ax wielding, yet sexy Instagram video here.
When Ben told me he was taking a train to NYC for a weekend from upstate NY, I told him we needed a drink and an interview. Luckily he obliged. Ben gets down and dirty with us about how rural life dating, which isn't that different from city dating, but it's best to leave your ax at home.
