We all claim to want the wisdom of God, but we are more prone to take out messengers of such wisdom when they come around. Though Jesus was wisdom itself, religious people remained very skeptical of him. Though Stephen spoke with the same kind of wisdom, he was martyred for his teachings.

What wisdom does God want to speak to us through the Holy Spirit and will we listen when he does? Or will we join hands with the religious leaders who rejected such teachings?

It's easy to be in awe of God in the moments when he's very active, but we can often forget in time. Jamin talks about the importance of recording your story so that God can speak through experience.

While God goes ahead of us in evangelism, he also sends us ahead of him in evangelism. Jamin talks about this dynamic while he reflects on the passage of Jesus sending the 72 disciples out ahead of him.

For this Pentecost Sunday, Jamin tells many stories from his life with his college mentor Ken Brewer, who passed away this week. Ken operated as Jamin's own personal Pentecost event and changed the direction of his faith and pneumatology forever.

The Kingdom of Heaven works differently than the Kingdoms of Earth, and King Jesus gives us Heaven's disruptive strategies so we might subversively install his kingdom in our midst.

In Numbers 9, it's pretty clear that Israel didn't move unless God's cloud or fire led them somewhere else. But in Numbers 10, a team of Israelites sought a place to go next, and the cloud went with them. What do we do with these opposing stories? Jamin offers a suggestion based on the dynamic found throughout the rest of the Bible and in our own lives.
