    • Alternative Health

Hello, health coaching family member. I'm Dr. Krista Ryan, and you're listening to the journey from nurse to health coach. And we're so excited that you guys are tuning in. We were talking about in the last episode a little bit about why I started this process of helping nurses become health coaches. And I have a passion for business.

And because I went from being a helicopter pilot to being a chiropractor. I knew right from the get go that I didn't want to fool around with just learning how to do a job. I wanted to jump right into being a business owner right away, because I wanted the flexibility. I wanted the time with my family.

I want to be able to create my own schedule and not have somebody dictate that schedule to me. And, and I want that for each and every person that tunes into this podcast or channel I'm so excited that you guys have. Passionate as I about this topic. And I want to encourage you each and every one of you to dive right into the material, because that's going to give you the confidence in the ability to move forward within your own profession, without anybody holding you back or without taking a ton of time to get there.

When I. First graduating from, um, chiropractic college. I ran across a guy, uh, who was a chiropractor for many, many years who became my health coach and who became my business coach. And what he did was he gave me the confidence to buy a practice that had a couple of chiropractors in it. And I took over their whole operation.

I would not have had that confidence to do that without him holding my hand and being there for them. Whole process. I was actually relying on his experience in business in order to move forward in order to get into the profession the way I really wanted to get into my profession. And I want to encourage you each and every one of you to do the same.

If you don't know where to go, we do a Facebook live on the journey from nurse to health coach. Um, we do it in a Facebook group called the journey to health coach. So please look us up there. And, um, we go live in that group, Thursdays at 12:00 PM, um, 11 to 12:00 PM Eastern standard time. So encourage each and every one of you, because we go through the blueprint or your business model for success at that time.

So guys get on there. It's free. Um, it's a service that we offer you. And it's a way to dive into this business and have the confidence that I had moving into my chiropractic career, um, with everything that I wanted right from the get-go. So I wanna encourage you guys to do the same. Now, why should you transition from being a nurse?

You might be feeling disappointed with your career. You might be feeling exhausted because you're working long hours and you don't get to choose when you're home for your family or not. Um, you might be feeling. You're frustrated. And the toll that your career is taking on your body is too much. I have been in the same situation and that's why I became a health coach in my own.

Right. Um, and that's why I got online and started this process to begin with is because I could not do my job in the capacity that I wanted to do it in. And I couldn't reach the people that I wanted to reach without getting online and doing all the things that it took to become. A health coach and I want to encourage each and every one of you to do the exact same thing.

And that is why you are here in this podcast today. So congratulations and pat yourself on the back for taking the first step to a new coaching career each and every one of you say congratulations to yourself. Sometimes that step forward and that movement in a better path. Is, uh, should be celebrated each and every time because it's the small steps and the small actions that you take that will give you a different outcome.

If everybody, if you had 10 people start a journey in one spot and they all went in different directions, even if it was only a two degree difference, they'd end up at a different destination. So the
