How to Own Being a Boss Mom, a conversation with Dana Malstaff
Dana Malstaff is the founder of Boss Mom and creator of Nurture to Convert. She’s a mom, author, speaker, and podcaster who believes that too many brilliant moms are struggling to grow their businesses while balancing all that is required to be a good mom, partner, and woman. Our conversation covers a lot of ground, including how starting a business forces you to confront your insecurities and limiting beliefs, and how showing up to all of life right now (especially your own pursuits outside of motherhood) can set the stage for your kids to see what it looks like to live a life of growth and meaning.

Why is there a burrito in my pantry?
In the midst of the always chaotic end-of-school season, I decided to share a story about why it matters that we’re intentional with our kids, and some thoughts on how to get there. In today’s solo episode, I dive into some pressing issues, including effective communication, dealing with lying and trust issues, emotional regulation, building resilience, and self-care strategies. And all of this came up for me during a recent incident involving a late night, a brown paper bag, and a burrito. I think you’ll be able to relate.
