This year’s inaugural HYPEFEST was filled with an assortment of exclusive launches, live performances and gripping discussions. Topics like accessibility and acceptance led the dialogue as the group examines how the secondary market for sneakers transitioned from something corporate figures wouldn’t even acknowledge, to a billion-dollar industry that everyone wants a piece of. The collective also talked about the art of supply and demand — using Supreme a case study – and how it can effect resell shops. Lastly, the panelists closed out the exchange with some questions from the audience.
