In the Midst of the Trees
In this episode, I share a bit about what it's been like to be in the midst of the trees (metaphorically speaking). I share about anxiety and learning about myself. I give anxiety the credit it deserves while reminding us all, myself included, that we're not in this alone.
I hope this episode encourages you to look for God in unexpected places.

19: Making it Work | Busyness
In this episode, I talk through a subject that has become a bit of a hot topic for me: busyness. I recently read John Mark Comer's The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry and it really rocked my world, to say the least. I talk through three elements of busyness that I've taken a critical eye to in my life that I think might be beneficial for you to look at, too. I'm also brutally honest about the ways in which I've not gotten this down yet.
I hope you're encouraged.

18: Making it Work | Dating
In this episode, I talk through what it's been like to date in the midst of a pandemic, in my late twenties, and in the age of the dating app. I offer stories of what's went wrong and what's been right. By the end, I offer some insight on what I'm finding to be beneficial in my singleness. I hope you are encouraged.

17: Making it Work | Teaching in a Pandemic
I'm back (for now)! I started 2021 with the intention of building better rhythms in my life and getting this podcast up & going is one of those. In this episode, I reflect on where I've been (a wild year) and how I'm seeing myself & life differently these days. Over the next few weeks, I'll share some stories and moments in which I find myself making it work. This week is about finding new rhythms, especially as I navigate teaching during a pandemic.
Another rhythm I am figuring out is writing again. If you're interested in more daily reflections, you can follow along on the Salt & Branch website. -
16: Shortness Of Breath
In this epsiode, I hash out a little bit of the anxiety I've been working through recently. I share some of what I'm learning about the various approaches to anxiety and how a more "wide" look at what God might be doing through it could lead to some beautiful revelations.
