Volunteering in the USA J1

    • Society & Culture

Why Volunteering? Because:

🌐 It makes you a better person

🌐It brings you to the problem-solving table

🌐It helps your career

👦🏾👩🏼 In this episode, I hosted Fatim Ibrahima Yaro, a Fulbright graduate student at the University of Southern Indiana. Originally from Burkina Faso (West Africa), he is a volunteering coordinator at the USI's international office. Fatin and I, we both arrived in Evansville for our studies on the same day. We sat down and discussed what's the portion of volunteering impact on international student life and what local communities gain out of accepting the help from international people. There are many other useful points about volunteering.
