Spirituality, Loss, and Gratitude ft. Meaghan
Today is a very special episode because we have our first ever guest on the pod!!! I invited my friend from college, Meaghan, to speak because she’s one of the rarest people I know. You’ll see why once you listen. On this episode, Meaghan gives us an introduction to spirituality, opens up about a recent family loss (*trigger warning*), living in the present, and even draws a few angel cards for us. I always leave my conversations with Meaghan on a higher vibration and I hope you have the chance today to feel that too. ~Lauren

No Regrets—Life Advice From the Dying
If your time on Earth expired tomorrow, would you leave with any regrets? In today’s episode we discuss The Top 5 Regrets of the Dying, an international bestselling memoir written by Bronnie Ware一a woman who spent the majority of her professional career caring for patients in their last stages of life. Bronnie learned a lot about what truly matters in life and wrote about the 5 most common themes among her patients. In this book review, we take little nuggets from Bronnie and reflect on how we can start to live a more intentional life at ANY age! Much love, Lauren & Rachel.

Meditation Struggles & Roger the Buff Kangaroo
After an affirmation from Rachel, we discuss the struggle of mindfulness, the power of visualization (shoutout to POW, Colonel Hall), what we would say to our young selves if we could go back in time, self talk for the 2021 ~swimsuit season~, Roger the buff kangaroo, and ending with a short segment of Why TF Would I Ever Need to Know That. We also thoroughly explain what a cubic inch is, in case you forgot. We might start a gofundme for Rachel’s elementary math teachers—stay tuned.

Reminder: We Live On a Floating Rock
We aren’t sure if this reminder will make you feel better or worse...but for us, it puts our problems and anxious thoughts into perspective. Rachel explains what “masking” means in an ADHD [and societal] context and Lauren shares some of her previous experience with online therapy for social anxiety. Once we cure your anxiety forever (jk lol we wish) Rachel sends us out with an affirmation to help lead us toward resiliency and viewing our failures as essential life experiences. Thanks for listening & as always you are doing great.
