Here, I describe the pivotal moment when I realized that I had to write my memoir, In Duet with God, which would ultimately be honored with an Illumination Book Award. The story is about a very special woman named, "Flora," a person who touches the lives of all whom she meets. In Duet with God is the tale of Flora's love and the awakening of the heart this remarkable person inspired.
