    SEASON FINALE!!

    SEASON FINALE!!

THIS IS OUR FINAL EPISODE THIS SEASON.

HONESTLY I CAN'T BELIEVE WE MADE IT THIS FAR, AND I'M REALLY PROUD OF US.

In this episode, Kevin and Bilal recap the entire first season of Badgered, and weigh the strengths and struggles of each of their podcast ideas this (pilot) season.

They talk about what it takes to start (and continue) a podcast all about creative writing. Kevin is humble again, and Bilal tries to use the word 'untenable' without sounding pretentious. Only one of them is successful. They discuss viewership, success, and what they're passionate about continuing to do from here.

Stay for the end of the episode to witness the birth of a new idea!

Badgered is a podcast all about being a creative writer living and working in Western Sydney. In this pilot, Kevin and Bilal talk about their biggest Digital Disasters. Kevin laments at his music loss, and Bilal is still cut up about the photos on his phone.

This episode's got bikies and breakfast, digital foils and victories, and the moral qualms of downloading cartridge ROMS.

Tune in to hear about Kevin's saga of repairing a Gameboy SP, and Bilal driving to Kevin's house at midnight for a copy of Windows.

In this pilot for our DIY Podcast, Bilal and Kevin bicker about the aircon temperature, discuss smacking car batteries like watermelons, and what it's like being an anxious millennial.

Craft of Trying - PILOT #5

Craft of Trying - PILOT #5

Bilal is thinking about applying for the $10,000 Liminal and Pantera Press Prize, due in a month, and he takes the chance to pick Kevin's brain about 3 ideas he has for the nonfiction prize.
If you're a writer, looking to get recognition for your work (and get paid for it!) follow along this episode as Bilal talks through his creative writing process, what he keeps in mind in the brainstorming process, and how testing the ideas against another writer (in this case Kevin!) makes your work better.
We totally encourage you to submit to this prize, alongside Bilal. You just need to be living in Australia, and identify as a First Nations Person, or a Person of Colour.
But also if you win you owe Bilal lunch :)
    Hope this helps!

Rollin' With My Homie - Episode 2

Rollin' With My Homie - Episode 2

In the car on the way to the Bankstown Poetry Slam, Kevin and Bilal jump into the nitty-gritty bureaucratic nonsense of being a writer. Bilal talks about where and how he saves his poetry, and Kevin is appalled. As always, Kevin is a lot more organised.

Tune in to learn how to (and how definitely not to) keep your writing safe.
