Are You Ashamed of the Gospel?

Are You Ashamed of the Gospel?

My name Sam Hwang and you are listening to C-Radio.

I am the host of “C-Radio Moment”.

“How would you feel about carrying the Bible in your hand on college campus or in downtown Philadelphia?”

When I was in college, although not a lot of student did it, it was not a strange site for a student on college campus to carry a large printed Bible.

On Friday nights, in particular, many students participated in various Christian groups and often carried their Bibles.

In fact, I used to carry one all over the college campus, day and night. My college yearbook has a picture of me carrying my King James Version of the Thompson’s Chain Reference Bible that my father gave me as gift.

    That was many years ago.

Would I do it again today? Probably…..

    What about you?

Would you carry a large printed Bible around, clearly visible to everyone?

In college, the one Bible verse that truly spoke to me was Romans 1:16:

16 I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes; first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.

This verse explains why you should not be ashamed of the gospel.

Apostle Paul explains that the gospel is the power of God to save sinner.

There is nothing else in the world that can save sinners except the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why would you be ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ?

Thank you joining me on “C-Radio Moment.” May God richly bless you this day!

    Renew Your Strength

    Renew Your Strength

    C-Radio is listener supported. www.cradioworld.com

My name is Sam Hwang and you are listening to C-Radio

I am the host of “C-Radio Moment.”

In the midst of the unprecedented pandemic and unsettling riots and demonstrations, are you okay?

Many people are tired of being shut in.

Many are tired of the directives and orders from the government.

Indeed, many are tired of life.

    How are you feeling?

I am normally quite self-motivated and it would take a lot to get me down.

During the recent pandemic, however, I began to feel the blues of being locked down.

I probably do not need to tell you how I felt since you probably also faced the similar situation as me.

What I would like to tell you is how you can overcome the tiresomeness of life.

Are you familiar with the second half of an eagle’s life?

Eagles can live up to 75 years.

Most of the eagles will not reach that age, however.

In order for an eagle to reach that age, the eagle must go through a transformational phase.

During this transformational phase, which can take up to 150 days or more, the eagle will starve himself and begin a transformational process of renewing his strength by replacing his feathers, his claws (otherwise known as talons) and his beak.

At the age of about 35 to 40 years, the eagle will first pluck all his old feathers (which have become heavy and hinder flying) using his beak.

The eagle will then pluck out all his talons which are no longer able to hold on to his prey.

Finally, the eagle will crush his beak against the rock and break it off.

Thereafter, the eagle waits for 150 days, completely naked and hungry.

Many eagles do not survive this transformational phase.

For those that survive, the eagle is rewarded with new light and fluffy feathers, brand new talons that can claw even large animals and a new sharp and straight beak which will allow him to attack his prey.

If the eagle is successful, he can live for another 25 years.

    We all have tired moments.

Isaiah 40:31 says: “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint”

Would you like to renew your strength?

Are you willing to come to the Lord Jesus Christ find rest in Him?

I would like to invite you to come.

If you would like to speak with me, please contact me by texting me at 610-680-3990 and mention “C-Radio Moment.”

Thank you for joining me on “C-Radio Moment.”

May God richly bless you this day!

"Ultimate Poverty" - Proverbs 13:7 - Pastor Sam Hwang - Christ Life Church www.clcpeople.net

"Ultimate Poverty" - Proverbs 13:7 - Pastor Sam Hwang - Christ Life Church www.clcpeople.net

"One man pretends to be rich, yet has nothing; another pretends to be poor, yet has great wealth." Proverbs 13:7. Pretentiousness is ultimate poverty. Humility is ultimate wealth.

The ultimate poverty is pretending that you are going to heaven when you have no basis to claim it.

The rejection of the cross is pretentiousness at its worst!

"For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich." 2 Corinthians 8:9.

A Nation In Sin - Proverbs 14:34 - Pastor Sam Hwang - Christ Life Church www.clcpeople.net

A Nation In Sin - Proverbs 14:34 - Pastor Sam Hwang - Christ Life Church www.clcpeople.net

"Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people" Proverbs 14:34

What is the solution to a nation in sin?

The church of Christ must live as a holy nation.

"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praise of his wonderful light" 1 Peter 2:9
