Lisa Plasencia has 23 years of experience in children’s ministry. Her masters in communication brings unique talents that include the ability to teach people how to give presentations, work together in groups, and how to use communication to build bridges and unite church members.
Her passion is teaching children, youth, and leaders on how to create an abiding relationship with God, which will impact their local church and community. She also, collaborates on new curriculum for the North American Division and developed the 2019 VBS theme.

Janet Abbey - Fight the Hate Leader
In this episode we sit down and talk to Janet Abbey about her past work as a children's ministry leader, she give tips on starting children's ministry at a church from the ground up. We also talk about her current ministry Fight the Hate and the different topics the group has addressed including physical abuse, sexual abuse, and mental health.
Fight the Hate will be having a rally to fight the hate against Mental Health Stigma at Clovis Seventh- Day Adventist Church on September 7th.
