The episodes will be either a new production or chosen from archives of Hive Community Radio where we will select some of our favourite recordings to provide an eclectic collection of audio for you listening pleasure.

The Tenth Bord - Audio Drama
Award-winning author Lorna Windham, working with Community Arts Project North East, has taken the St Hilda’s Pit disaster as an inspiration and created an audio play based on fact but is a fictionalised account. This moving drama was performed by an amateur community cast who are part of The Hive Radio Storytellers Audio Drama Group.
Music Chris Ormston Bagpipe music - Fathers and Sons: A Lament for Hartley
A Script in hand performance took place on 28th June 2019 to commemorate the 180th Anniversary of the disaster at St Hilda's Pit Head in South Shields funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund through the Tyne and Wear Preservation Trust. -
