The podcast aims to shed light and address the exploitation issue of the producers to the Filipino fans and understands the power relation between the two. The group talks about the concept of textual poaching to understand how Kpop fans use it for self-actualization, and also as a form of resistance against the producers. Kpop fans also experience othering as defined by Ryan Dyers in the form of stereotyping and discrimination that is evident through individuals and member types. 

The podcast also aims to highlight the good side of the fandom, such as organizing volunteer and donation drives and other civic movement activities that aim to achieve and promote common goods that are often not covered by the media. Lastly, the hosts invited an avid K-pop fan to know her perspective about the fandom culture in the country.
