The most entertaining and enraging stories from mythology told casually, contemporarily, and (let's be honest) sarcastically. Greek and Roman gods did some pretty weird (and awful) things. Liv focuses on Greek and Roman mythology's (mis)treatment of women, the wild things the gods did, and the all around incredible minds of the ancient world. Gods, goddesses, heroes, monsters, and everything in between. Regular episodes every Tuesday, conversations with authors and scholars or readings of ancient epics every Friday.

AmeliaRSA ,

Is this the best podcast out there?

Been listening to this podcast for years and it’s just the best breakdown of Greek mythology I have come across.

Ava v/d Paal ,

My favourite podcast of all time!

Hi I’m Ava, if your new to this podcast I would recommend this as the best podcast I have ever listened to. I started listening to this podcast about a year ago and it has inspired me to classics (Greek and Latin). Liv is very funny and has made me see the characters in Greek myth in ways other people could not. If your not listening to this already your definitely missing out! Thank you Liv for making this podcast you’ve changed my life.

Warning: dangerously great podcast

Goddammit, i can't enjoy Steven Fry's 'Troy' anymore because this podcast made me too darn feminist (or a lot of other retellings for that matter).
All jokes aside: love the podcast! I don't have enough time for the incredible amount of hours of content that Liv has put out but i am trying my best to listen to all of it. The storytelling is great, the experts are awesome and the mythbusting is amazing!
Keep up the good work Liv!

PS I absolutely loved the atlantis and sparta series even though they aren't myth.
