Northern Australia Food Futures NT Farmers Association

Bruce was a founding member of the Northern Territory Cotton Growers Association and is the inaugural President of the association. Bruce has many decades of experience in broad acre cropping across North Australia and is a passionate advocate for regional issues. Martina has played a key role in driving innovation in the industry and encouraging future generations to consider working on farms. She formerly managed Acacia Hills Farm and has been working in the mango industry for over 20 years. In 2016 Martina won the RIRDC Rural Woman of the year award. Martina is a former board member of NT Farmers and is now a freelance technology consultant in horticultural production.

A teacher and agronomist, Simone, is a passionate advocate for agriculture in the Territory and is committed to promoting research and extension in the sector. She owns and operates a 1200 acre property just outside Katherine and has been with the NT Farmers Association since 2019. Paul McLaughlin grows watermelons and peanuts near Ali Curung, south of Tennant Creek. He has extensive experience in developing irrigation properties and growing a range of crops from cotton to horticulture. Paul is Chairman of Melons Australia and is on the Strategic Investment Panel with Hort Innovation, and the board of NT Farmers Association. Nick has been involved in the agricultural sector his entire life. He owned and operated Northern Hedging and Contracting for 16 years and is actively involved in the mango and forestry industries. He recently established NT Broadacre to service the growing broadacre cropping industry. Nick also owns a mango farm with 7200 honey gold mango trees.
