Nate and Benjamin report on their last night on the canals and their harrowing evacuation from Venice. Have no fear though, the gents landed high and dry. This episode finds them reporting live from Positano where they are in residence at Le Sirenuse, probably the most magical hotel in the world. They find themselves ashore here to celebrate and inaugurate a magnificent tile mosaic the artist Nicolas Party has blessed the hotel's pool with.
In the second half of the pod the boys are joined by Antonio Sersale, hotel owner and quite likley the best host in the world. Antonio briefs us on the history of the hotel, what it takes to be a great host and the genisis of their fantastic contemporary art collaborations and collection.

We are on the road and we are podcasting. Nate and Benjamin report on their separate adventures in Chicago and London and then get into the incredible opening of the Aïshiti Foundation exhibition in Rome and all the other art and food they experienced in the Eternal City.
They are then joined by curator Alison Gingeras to discuss the Eddie Martinez exhibition she organized for the San Marino pavilion of the 2024 Venice Biennale. We go on to her extensive history in the world of art and Venice specifically when she was the founding director of the two Pinault Collection spaces in the city. I am just a young artist turned art dealer in the provincial city of Amsterdam and this podcast has been so great for me to realise that I’ll have to do much more than any of the pals in NYC to get a small shine of attention, but maybe I’ll get a cap?
On top of that they do not only show you how all the art world is so US centered but they also mention a bunch of restaurants so if you happen to be in town for Independent or the auctions (not Armory, that’s dead) you know where to go (or where not to)
Anyway, every week I love to hear these two and their guests and sometimes I even re listen to some of them (skipping the intro of course)
