Phish Recaps sets the gearshift to the second-to-last show of Fall 94 to celebrate a Tier 1 (great) effort by the Phish from Vermont. After a long hiatus, Phish Recaps returns to visit Fall 94 Tour on October 29th, 1994 in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Instead of tightening up in the final show before the band's historic Halloween cover of The Beatles White Album, the band lets loose and gets weird down south. Fall 2000 delivered the goods more often than not as Phish punctuated the end of the 1.0 era with several great shows, many of which fly under the radar. My favorite gig, 9-17-2000 at MPP, offers a hearty serving of classics in Set 1, and some stretched out, unique jams across Set 2. I include clips from Bathtub Gin, The Curtain With, Rock and Roll, a sublime segue from Theme From the Bottom into Dog Log, Mango Song, and Free in this episode. Fall '99 hits the ground running! Phish opens tour in Vancouver, Canada, and 9-9-1999 is my third favorite show of the whole tour. FWIW, I rank 9-12 in Portland first, and 9-14 in Boise second. Pretty impressive for the first week of a tour, eh? Jams from Mozambique, Stash, Ghost, Tweezer, and YEM are included in this episode.
