Kumquat Recipes + Surprisingly NSFW Stories
It's a teeny tiny itty bitty citrus party with an episode dedicated to a cheery fruit that, in Cantonese, means "golden orange": the kumquat!
The kumquat is a fruit brilliant in color, slightly egg shaped and - in my mind - just like inside out baby oranges: sweet on the outside and fiercely tart on the inside.
We've got some kumquat 101 knowledge to drop with great recipes (both vintage and modern) and a couple of SUPER weird kumquat-related tidbits for you. There's nothing like a good ingredient spotlight to fill your ears with - the saucy NSFW twist at the end is just the cherry on top.
