    What is Your Treasure?

    What is Your Treasure?

Together, we confront what we treasure. Christ shows us that if we make anything other than Him and His kingdom our treasure they will not only be lacking but so will we.

This is a reflection on Matthew 6:1-6,16-21.

    Are You a Good Person?

What Gets in the Way of Our Faith

What Gets in the Way of Our Faith

There are a lot of things that we let get in the way of our faith. We let these things stop us from building a relationship with God and sharing that relationship with others. Through the story of Nicodemus we explore together a few of these reasons and why it is so important to move past them.

The reading for today is John 3:1-21
But the sermon also references John 7:45-52 and John 19:38-42 as part of Nicodemus' story.

When We Find Ourselves in Need - Morning Prayer and a Reflection on Psalm 23

When We Find Ourselves in Need - Morning Prayer and a Reflection on Psalm 23

At St. Bride's Church in Clarkson Mississauga we have ceased public gathered worship during Covid-19. This is not an act out of fear, but rather is an act of love. We are still a community and we still worship Christ. We know that we are united in Christ's body, whether we are in the same room or not and we know that God's redeeming work moves beyond our doors and into the world. We continue that work. If you have anything you need at this time, whether it is a conversation or supplies please reach out to us.

This is our first morning prayer service in social distancing. Please listen and if you would like to join us in the responses, the service can be found on page 45 of the Book of Alternative services. This book can be found online at https://www.anglican.ca/wp-content/uploads/BAS.pdf

The reading and reflection is taken from Psalm 23, which can be found online at https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Psalm+23&version=NIV
