    Session #5 // Keith Wieser

    Session #5 // Keith Wieser

There is a season for everything under the sun. In this week's session, Host Brian Frye (Twitter: @brifrye), and Resonate’s Lead Pastor Keith Wieser (Twitter: @keithwieser) talk through the implications of different seasons, the emotional and mental health implications of difficult seasons, and the season we are all together in now. In their discussion they explore the intersection of worldview and difficulty, prosperity Christianity, and the differences between an owned and an inherited faith.

“Maybe I have been consuming Christianity, but my basic mindset has been the same as the rest of culture, I just have a different group of friends. When that happens, you cannot interpret the world around you very well. You can’t have a Christian worldview. There is just a Secular worldview you have put a Christian veneer over.” —Keith Wieser

    Session #3 // Jacob Dahl

    Session #3 // Jacob Dahl

In this week’s episode Host Brian Frye (Twitter: @brifrye) speaks with Jacob Dahl about this season of Wilderness, what it exposes in each of us, and how we can press into calling in this time. In their discussion they discuss calling, and Jacob shares how his calling came out of crisis and failure. This week's discussion touches on some of the cultural coping trends that have surfaced from social-distancing and quarantining. These include pornography use trends, marijuana sales and gun sales. What does crisis reveal about our calling? What does crisis reveal about our coping? What do we do if we have been coping poorly?

Jacob Dahl (Twitter: @jacobdahl) is the Resonate Church site pastor in Ellensburg Washington, home to Central Washington University. He and his wife Jessica were sent out as the first 21x21 church planting site, and have been living and serving in Ellensburg since 2014.
