What should you do with your life?  What can you do to ensure your children are as informed as they can be to make the decision God is calling them to make?  Only God can know, of course, but isn't there always more that you can be doing?  These questions plague a young adult/parent's mind. Thankfully, we have many examples to look to for guidance, no matter your calling!

Of course we don’t go about our lives hoping to suffer. Let’s face it, we’d prefer not to even be mildly inconvenienced! Suffering by definition is painful, and can make us wonder what the point is? Why does God allow it to happen? What good could possibly come of it?

All are welcome, right? If you are feeling disconnected from your parish, center yourself again on the Truth.  If nothing else is pulling you to the Catholic faith, know that the real presence of Jesus Christ and his divine mercy is enough!  There is a sad reality, however, that sometimes the community seems to have failed us.  It can be tempting to feel as if we don't belong for various reasons that we will discuss.

Last week was about femininity, and today it's going to be about how the feminist movements throughout the past century and a half had so much potential, but ultimately screwed the pooch to the point that femininity seems outdated and obscure.

Women hold a unique and valuable place in the body of Christ.  We offer the world the incredible gift of our feminine genius and a seemingly bottomless capacity to receive others lovingly.  It's easy to mistake God's direction for us to be submissive to our husbands as outdated and belittling.  We are viewed as less-than, but the truth is that we are called to carry out that call from God while retaining equal value.
