Light
Listening for years, gives light in my life and those dark times.
Too much about the way the story is told
Some of the stories I find very compelling. But more often than not I find that the emphasis is too much on the way the story is told, the way it is brought on stage. (which is pretty much always done theatricality very well) I’m looking for amazing stories. Not mediocre anecdotes, laced with clever puns and twists just to evoke a reaction with the audience. But maybe I’m just not the target audience.
Ok, I just heated the story about the paralyzed girl who tells about having a boy over in her dorm room. One of the better stories I think. I raised from 3 to 4 stars.
I actually have been listening for some years now and there have been a lot of great stories. There just, to me, are a few too many mediocre ones.
Also, and I feel a bit reluctant saying this, because he seems like a great guy, but I would prefer it if Kevin (the presenter) would talk a bit less. This could be just me, but I’m more interested in the stories, not so much in the funny side anecdotes or whatever it is he’s saying. (Admittedly, I usually skip to the stories)
Love it!
Longtime listener, love love love this show! It allows me to experience the storytellers perpective, and wow that can be truly amazing! Keep it up Kevin & crew :)
