    Leo Zulueta is a Filipino tattoo artist who grew up in Hawaii. He is considered by some as the father of modern tribal tattoos. His work is heavily influenced by ancient tribal art and has become the inspiration and look for most contemporary tribal tattoos. I had the honor and privilege to speak with him and talk about how he got into tattooing, growing up with the Filipino community in Hawaii, and him being in the tattoo scene for 4 decades now.
