Satin-Satin Lang: the podcast Ceej Reyes

Hi. Gusto ko lang i-share lahat ng sentiments ko ukol sa Halalan 2022, mula sa campaign period, pag-volunteer sa mga H2H campaigns, rallies at diskurso. I just needed a platform or a space where I can share and vent out my thoughts since I am really feeling down, sad, angry, and anxious. I thought this platform might help. In this special episode I just narrated the things I experienced and realized over the whole process. Now that partial and unofficial results are out, we might need to accept it but it doesn't stop here.

Sa lahat na umaasa ng #KulayRosasAngBukas, simula palang ito at patuloy tayong lumaban. Dadating din ang araw na liwanag ang mananaig. Maraming salamat sa mga tumindig at sana magkita kita parin tayo sa dulo ng laban!

Single ka man or taken ngayon, for sure na-encounter mo ang challenges sa paglalandi this pandemic. Am I right? Haha. In this episode, our special guest Mariz and I talked about our landi experiences this pandemic. Ano na ba ang mga pinagkaiba ng pakikipaglandian ngayon compared to pre-pandemic days? Ano na ang mga galawan ng mga tao when they meet new people, and syempre, how to handle these encounters? We shared a lot of landi stories in this episode kaya na-enjoy talaga namin ito! In the end, we also shared some realizations that we learned on how to cope with the changing times in terms of landi this pandemic.

Sometimes it's fine to take a step back and reflect on our progress, and to think of what our future might hold. In this episode, Kelsey (first-time in the podcast YAY!) and I talked to our old and future versions - what do we want to say to our 18 year-old selves, what do we want to give as an advice to the younger us, and if we want to change a thing in our past. Also, we tried to share our hopes and dreams to our future selves. What do we want when we become older? What do we want to achieve? What is our goals 10 years from now? Well, it was like writing a letter but we opted to share it here in the podcast.

In the midst of pandemic, we just want to share our realization that we might feel so tired, and drained, and exhausted, but perhaps it would be helpful to take a step back, reflect, and think of our progress may it be little, and make this progress as a stepping stone in reaching our dreams for the future.
